AKA Martha's Vineyard

The luxurious resort of Martha's Vineyard is an island off the coast of Massachusetts. The original inhabitants, the Wampanoag Indians, called it 'Noepe': a place of refuge. The Wampanoag were decimated by the European colonists. This stunningly beautiful Super8 film is a monument to a people almost expelled and an understanding of nature almost forgotten.
