A documentary that gives us an intimate glimpse of the everyday life of eight-year-old Giovanni from a well known depressed area in Amsterdam-Noord. At home there are not many rules and not much money. With his charm, humour and cheekiness, despite his age, he can stand on its own two feet and arm himself against the unrest at home.
