A son (the film maker himself) questions his father about his imprisonment and torture under Abdul Nasser’s regime in Egypt in the 1960s. In a calm, moving way, he manages to penetrate to the very hidden yet charming man who wants to tell, but only in general terms. A personal, intimate film about exile, the father-son relationship and how political choices influence lives.
