A heavy drinker fills his torn pockets with empty tin cans. Every time he turns around, there are new cans of beer to be found on the street. Jaap Pieters: 'For me, the tin can man is a metaphor for human pursuits. We make a fuss about things we think to be important - material or not - but whatever we pick up and put in our pockets, immediately falls out again.' Presented by Filmbank, Amsterdam.
