The filmmaker documents a visit to her aunt in Odessa, a woman who witnessed WW II, the repression under Stalin and finally the perestroika. Like the city, where time apparently has been standing still, her feminity has been unaffected over the years. A journey into daily life and yet a journey into the past. A warm and nostalgic portrait of the person, that also awakes memories of the Jewish life style in the old times.
