An absurdist satire on the old Filipino custom that younger people should raise the hands of their elders to their forehead as a sign of respect. The disobedient child Elbis takes the last wish of his mother to be respectful all too literally and gives 'mano' (the hand-forehead gesture) until he doesn't have much forehead left. It is typical of the approach of Khavn as a director that the satire is driven to the bloodiest of extremes.
