Mihály is a Gypsy living in miserable poverty. His everyday life is disrupted when his wife dies. From that moment on, his only aim in life is to give her a decent funeral. With a beautiful funeral, Mihály wishes to prove to the village and, in fact, to the whole world that with all his hard work he deserves to be treated as an equal. Shot almost in a documentary style, it shows the life of the Roma and the ineraction within the Hungarian society.
