A stunning 'mockumentary' about a war never fought in which the historic fantasy paintings by Sandow Birk have been made to move using digital animation techniques by the film maker. The film breathes the mood of the 19th century, of the American Civil War and academy painting. But the story of the battle between Los Angeles and San Francisco also comprises many humorous topical references.
