A sensitive and cinematographically well designed story about a little boy whose grandmother dies. The film shows how the grandpa left behind reacts and shows the emotions of grandpa and grandson. The boy, confronted with death for the first time in his life, doesn't really understand, apart from the direct physical consequences: the cold and immovable body of his grandma. Together with his grandpa, he seeks distraction in nature, especially in hunting hares. The film has a philosophical undertone of life and death and ends with an unexpectedly emotional confrontation between the boy and his grandpa.
