The Pinter-like social comedy Buena Vida Delivery uses a wonderful plot to present the many Catch-22s that modern circumstances in Argentina present for many inhabitants. That the economic crisis also caused a social disaster is apparent in a tragi-comic way in Buena Vida Delivery from the bizarre consequences for family bonds, for ambitions, for love. The whole of civilisation is under pressure. The family of the courier Hernan (24) has emigrated to Spain. When he meets Patricia (nicknamed Pato), she is looking for a room and the two become involved in a relationship. One day, Pato's family arrives from the countryside; father, mother and a little girl, who turns out to be Pato's daughter after a while. Hernan is a little surprised by this, but apart from that the family is friendly and respectable -it is just that they don't leave. They are in dire straits financially. One day the living room is full of machinery to make churros (a kind of fritter). Hernan is stunned when Pato says that her parents need money to leave. Her father Venancio does indeed ask for money, but with the intention that Hernan becomes a partner in his churro business. It becomes clear that he is not rid of them yet...
