Vouw_dubb_2 ; Gipsplaat_dubb

Vouw_dubb_2 involves two photographs. A white sheet with a folded corner forms the basis of the work. Installed together against a wall, the suggestion of a triangular spatial form is evoked from the junction of both surfaces. Gipsplaat_dubb is an investigation into motion in minimal sculpture. As one sheet is a mirror image of the other, a contrast is created. The spatial nature of the work comes about through curving and torsion. Movement along both forms evokes movement in the forms from convex to concave and could be described as 'filmic'.
