A son pays homage to his father. Thirty years after the famous Brazilian film maker Glauber Rocha spent two years in exile in Cuba, his son follows his trail. STONES IN THE SKY is made up of Glauber Rocha's films, his cultural and political manifestoes, conversations with friends and acquaintances. The result is a film with a seductive visual language and magical musicality, entirely in keeping with Glauber's demand that Brazilian cinema should develop its own language. The film also forms a bridge to one of the most intriguing periods in the history of Latin American cinema.
