Commissioned as a public art project at the most frequently crossed border in the world: Tijana (Mexico) San Diego (USA). The portrait of a group of US Immigration and Customs Officers, who work with trained dogs to search for drugs and illegal immigrants. The video documents their daily routine. How motherly are they to their dogs? How do they handle the illegal immigrants? Mama illustrates how private psychologies do affect public space.
