Experimental filmmaker John Smith set out with sound artist Graeme Miller and found, here and there, pieces of magnetic tape, along the street, tangled in a tree or waving from a lamppost. What do the sound fragments tell us about the context in which they were found? A sociological quest, a lighthearted form of situationalism and a simple exercise in the art of the object trouvé.
