Some people are destined to be famous, others to become a legend. Tim Rose had everything he needed to become a world-famous musician: talent, presence and a striking uniqueness. When in early 1966 his first solo album came out with his unforgettable version of 'Hey Joe', the lyrics and his raw, emotional way of singing were too shocking for America at that time. His record company CBS refused to bring out the song as a single. One year later the unknown Jimi Hendrix used the arrangement of Tim Rose for his version of 'Hey Joe' and was famous overnight. How can someone like Tim Rose, who has written several legendary songs, remain so unknown? What does fate have in store?
