John and Courtney, two lovers, walk along in the orange glow of dusk through the streets of Brooklyn. An old acquaintance of John from Paris, Pascal, comes over. Pascal is older, not very successful and unemployed, but filled with dreams. When John and Courtney leave town, Pascal succumbs to shameless sexual curiosity.
