Multimedia performance about soundtracks for computer games. We live in a post-global village in which television has been replaced by the 'game' and the 'programme' by the 'model'. Today's revolutionaries are the teenagers in their bedrooms who cheerfully hack away with games computers. With a Playstation you can generate your own picture and sound and the soundtracks of the games have become opportunities for musicians, DJs and composers to break through. Games such as Wipe Out and its sequel Wipe Out XL had an impressive soundtrack, with artists such as Leftfield, Flux and Atari Teenage Riot (Alec Empire) and Photek. On the dance night 'Soundtracks for Computer Games', that uses visual material from all kinds of games, English musician en dj Photek will provide the music. The VJ Geert Mul will provide animations to accompany the show.
