An original and beautiful pseudo-cinéma-vérité report about an old farmer who built a singing robot in the fifties because he had no money for a radio. The robot, given the name Karel Gott (a singer who really exists), became the popular figurehead of the socialist regime of Czechoslovakia. (GjZ)
