An exciting report with an apparently autobiographical character. The film-maker is commissioned to make a TV documentary about old caves in the mountains of Galilee. At first he works without inspiration on what looks like a routine job. Then he chances upon the story of the unsolved murder of the young poet Saul Havilio. Havilio was found dead near the caves. Mount Menon is said to keep ancient secrets and possibly temple treasures. Mystery mingles with real danger as the film-maker turns out to be getting in the way of an armed movement that is fighting for an independent Galilee.Daniel Wachsmann links together different elements in his film in a fascinating way: a mysterious boys' book, the diary of a film-maker, the style of intrusive reality TV and a sketch of a violent country where the political tension runs high.
