Il giorno della prima di "Close-Up"

Comic (fake) documentary in which Nanni Moretti plays himself as he prepares the première of Close-Up by Abbas Kiarostami (see elsewhere) in his Rome cinema. In a reflection on the film about the false Makhmalbaf, the real Moretti plays the false Moretti. The film is also an ironic financial reflection: one of the most important international festival films hardly attracts any audience. (GjZ)
