At the start of the film, a town is bombed to put an end to a general strike. Three guerrillas appear from the ruins: a female Worker, a Priest and a Student. The Establishment (the US, a Businessman and a Trade Union Leader) fights the three with all the weapons at its disposal. Each group uses its own tactics and arms. Two other characters, the Artist and the Middle-class Citizen, try to save themselves by adapting to the situation. The director of this very politically-motivated and metaphorical film wanted to escape from the 'corrupt conventions' of Hollywood-film, so it became 'just as bad as we had hoped': 'the terrible acting, the worst possible breaks in the story-line and cut to the worst possible schnitts.' (Ludueña).
