With the growth of the Japanese economy, the number of foreigners working in Japan has also increased dramatically. Against this background, , the maker of this documentary, marries Theresa, a Filipina who works as escort girl in a bar. The film consists of two parts. In part one, Terada and Theresa marry in Manila. he is still a student at film school and returns to Japan, leaving his wife with her family. Part one ends with the birth of their baby. In part two, Terada has graduated and Theresa comes to Japan. Later their daughter Yoko joins them after being cared for by Theresa's mother. is a very personal autobiographical film that sheds light on the question of immigrants, their working conditions and the attitude of the Japanese to them.
