Valérie and Mathilde are at the start of their summer holiday and wonder how to spend it - preferably with a boy. For Mathilde a break from school, for Valérie it is all over: she was expelled just before the exams. Kamel and Didier are there too, two bluffers who dream of a relationship with one of the girls. Their problem is that they both fall for Valérie. At a party at Mathilde's house they drink, smoke dope and dance to Raï, to Bob Marley and to the Rolling Stones. In a carefree and euphoric mood, the party-goers see the evening merge into night. After that night, their relationships will never be the same again. The film was shot in only three weeks with a group of young amateur actors. Kahn tries to capture the innocence and frankness of the young bodies for the camera.
