In the academic year 1993-1994 the Cuban Film School EICTV realised a dream: a feature made by students. comprises four loosely-interwoven stories. In the first story, Lazaro has sworn he will stay a virgin until he finds the ideal woman. Years later fate delivers to him a child left as a foundling. In the second story, a young woman returns to her birthplace and becomes entangled in problems with her father. The third story shows how a politician falls in love with the woman he has hired to kill the leader of his party. Finally, in the fourth story, the nun Macia believes that the shortage of fish in a fishing village is a trial by God. With a strange man she has just met, she effects a miracle.
