About IFFR

IFFR works with an enthusiastic core team of 30 professionals with a shared passion for films, festivals and Rotterdam. Each year, in the lead-up to the festival, the team is expanded with over 100 temporary staff. IFFR furthermore recognises the value of providing opportunities for learning and therefore offers a variety of internships to students from different educational backgrounds.

We are ambitious, real go-getters and loyal towards one-another. The main language of communication within the team is English. IFFR highly values diversity of its team and aims to ensure it is a true reflection of our society. We henceforth strive to create and maintain a diverse staff composition and an inclusive work culture. We believe different perspectives will enrich our work. Regardless of ethnicity, economic or cultural background, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status and whether or not you have a disability, we welcome applications from all who are interested in gaining experience in our organisation.

Employed staff benefits

We have our own employment conditions package, to be updated annually, which follows the municipal CAO (Collective Labour Agreement) guidelines on salaries, to ensure competitive offerings in the labour market. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a range of benefits to our staff members including 25 days paid annual leave and 3 complementary ‘recovery days’, a holiday supplement of 8%, a pension scheme with Nationale Nederlanden, flexible working, opportunity to learn and grow, access to various team events, a discount on our legendary merchandise, and (free) access to our festival programme.

Volunteers

IFFR works with over 900 volunteers in many different positions.
